Flexible Working

Your Learning and Development

We offer all our staff opportunities for development, whether it be working towards our Core Competency Framework, which is accredited with the OCN (Open College Network), and leads to professional accreditation from the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals for our front line workers, the Leading for Results training course that we run in conjunction with the Open University for all our manager. We also support managers through the Certificate in Management qualification. These are just two of a host of learning and development opportunities for everyone at Addaction.

Performance Related Pay

We have a target-based performance related pay scheme which is paid annually as part of your annual pay reviews in April.

Annual Leave

You'll get 28 days' leave each year, plus statutory holidays. The leave year runs from 1 April to 31 March. Obviously, part time leave is calculated pro rata.

Pension

We offer all our staff the opportunity to join the Addaction group pension scheme after six months' service. In brief, we'll contribute 6% of your salary into the scheme.

We value your opinions. So, we have an Employee Forum where staff elect a representative from their area to make their feelings known, and filter their ideas and recommendations to senior members of staff to act on.

Induction

When you join, you'll complete a comprehensive induction course that'll help you get to grips with how we work and what's expected of you in your first six months. You'll also be assigned a buddy who'll help you settle in, and have reviews with your manager two, four and six months into your role, to make sure you're happy that everything's going well.

Death in Service

If you die whilst you work for us, then we'll provide a one-off lump sum payment to your nominated beneficiary that amounts to three times your annual salary.
